The Casale Tragedy

Tragic it was. I know i said i would not post any really personal stories, but this story must be told.

It all begins just about two years ago. This Image here is from Casale's Prime. Few know Casale as a Division 1 one tennis player, but he was good. Actually, he was the best. He once played a tournament and won straight through. He beat several GW players to earn the Top Spot, but then things fell apart.

Casale began to bite his nails during a tough match against Xavier.He actually bit his hand too hard. This bite was so deep and intense , it created an infection. Like a door being slammed shut, Casales Career began to fall , and fall heavy. After finishing last in the A-10 Tournament, he stopped speaking . He was so ashamed he couldn't even keep his head up. He was so embarrassed he ran away to Ireland. He is currently "Studying Abroad" ; but in reality he is escaping his true problem, nail biting.

Casale went to Ireland, because they are actually the best at fighting the nail bitting syndrome.
Sadly, the therapy did not work, and Casale continues to bite his nails. Not only has he continued to bite his nails, but he began to drink as well. He began to drink so heavily that others have had concern. [Read Post Below to Illustrate Casales' Habit].

- He was tempted to not finish finals
- He keeps drinking an Irish Red Ale.
- He has turned in "Really Crappy Work"
- "Drink as much Guinness as possible while I can still get the good stuff"

Hey Guys

So Patchus did his little spiel about the launch of this blog and already has published a number of subsequent posts (and I even published one regarding one of his), but I haven't really said anything yet.

Basically, it is about time. Sorry it took so long.

So I've got less than a month left in Europe and when I get back I will be, as Patchus said, living in the house for the summer. I'm so looking forward to Fifa. My classes are over here (well not true, I have one later today but I have no reason to go), and in my time left I've got a few plans.

1. Don't fail my finals. Hopefully that shouldn't be too hard, I only have three and so far the standards in Ireland have been way lower than in the U.S. I've written terrible essays that my professors loved. So I should be alright.

2. Go to Cork, Blarney, the Ring of Kerry, and possibly Limerick and the Cliffs of Moor. There are still a number of really touristy things in Ireland I have yet to do, which is sad.

3. See The National live on May 13th.

4. Drink as much Guinness as possible while I can still get the good stuff (and while its still legal for me to drink in bars, I'm sure it'll be really fun to go home and go back to being under the legal drinking age for a little while...).

As a quick note, here are some of the things I've done while in Europe:

• Drank a lot.
• Fell in love with Smithwicks.
• Done touristy stuff around Dublin.
• Visited Prague.
• Went to Northern Ireland to see Belfast and the Giant's Causeway.
• Went to Paris and then Berlin.
• Emily came to visit here in Dublin. We also went out west to see Galway and the Atlantic.
• Went to a Celtic game in Glasgow.
• Explored the Wicklow Mountains a bit.
• Missed real food and weather (neither are all that pleasant over here...)

So I hope you guys are all well, I'm looking forward to getting back into things. Patchus, feel free to critically examine every sentence and try to decipher my thoughts while writing this. I look forward to reading your interpretation!

The Casale Stare

If you ever spoke to Casale, i am sure you got this. I have decided to title this The Casale Stare.

What is he staring at, what are the thoughts rattling through his mind.

I (with the assistants of many) have made a list of what Casale thinks instead of paying attention to what we are talking about.

- Emily Anderson
- Phil Tamulis
- Baseball
- Tennis
- What that person would look like if they wore the color Blue
- Now is it better to have one fish or two fish, and is blue better than red?
- If Jon Lennon and Kurt Vonnegut got in a fight who would win?
- Apples or Oranges, but what if we mixed in bananas
- The Word "Bananas" is really hard to spell
- Ireland is so much fun
- God when am I gonna put my two words in
- Music is what defines me

What Makes Casale Tick.

Unlike a Clock, Casale ticks in a unique way.He works in a way that only highly paid scientist could figure out. (Sadly our funding for Casale's Corner is limited, so instead we got Dr. Nick Riviera).

He Gave us some explanations on the brain of Matthew D. Casale.

- Where is Waldo.

After spending hours trying to find the secret meaning of Casale's brain, all we could come up with is Where is Waldo. We are not sure exactly what Casale means when he asks where waldo. Nick Riviera Specialist in Waldo finding, believes that Waldo is a pictorial representation of Casale's personality . Riviera could not estimate how long Waldo has been gone for, but remarked " It has been some time".

-"Sometimes I wonder about the Creator of the Universe."

He wonders! We know have established that difficult equations run through his head, such as wondering about the creator of the Universe. Our next study will be inquiring about who, what, and where is the Creator of the universe, and what he is thinking about this creator

To answer that questions, yes; I am Casale's Corner. I created the blog to give the world a general view on what Matt Casale is like. Since Casale never speaks, or covey's emotion, i decided to give the world a glimpse of the times he actually shows emotion.

General Guidelines

- I will only give funny, sad, or useful posts. (In Regards to Casale, I will have plenty on Non-Casale related posts).
- Nothing too personal will come out of this, just a touch of who he is really is.
- Casale and I will both have posting privileges, as soon as he finds out i created this.
